Brand & Culture Films

What you communicate shapes perception.

BASED IN MUNICH

WORKING ACROSS EUROPE

MULTILINGUAL

We produce brand films, leadership portraits, culture documentaries, and employer identity films for founders, leadership teams, and organisations that need to be understood — clearly, credibly, and on their own terms. Munich-based, working across Europe.

THIS IS THE RIGHT PAGE IF

Your organisation has a real identity, a genuine direction, or a specific way of doing things - but the way it currently comes across to clients, partners, or future hires doesn't fully reflect that.

Your brand already exists
inside your organisation.

Most films we make are brand and culture films in some form. Across 400+ interviews and projects in 23 countries, we’ve learned that the most credible version of an organisation is found in the people closest to the work.

What this work is for

When perception and reality are not the same thing yet.

Most organisations know what they stand for. The challenge is making sure the right people see it too. Clients, partners, employees, and investors form impressions quickly, based on what they encounter first.

Brand and culture films close that gap - making visible what an organisation is, how it thinks, who leads it, and what it cares about.

What we create

Films shaped around what the organisation needs to achieve.

Most brand and culture work falls into one of three strategic situations. The film format follows from there.

01

Position your organisation clearly

For organisations where external perception (among clients, partners, or future hires) hasn't caught up with what they actually are, do, or stand for.

02

Show what your organisation is becoming

For organisations making a significant shift (new markets, new leadership, new priorities, or a new way of doing things) that want the right people to see it.

03

Give talent real insight into your world

For organisations where the quality of who you attract depends on people understanding what working there actually looks like - not a recruitment pitch, but a real picture.

Every brand and culture project is scoped differently - the number of people filmed, shoot days, locations, interview preparation, and the range of assets delivered all affect the investment. If you want to understand what a project like yours might involve, see how we think about pricing →

Brand & culture communication

Brand films most often
fail in
one of four ways.

We work against each one

The brief is usually clear enough. The result often is not. These are the patterns that appear most consistently when this kind of film does not land.

what goes wrong

  • Values are stated, not shown. The language is aspirational rather than specific. The result could belong to anyone.

  • Founders and executives say the right things but do not come across as themselves. The film is technically fine and personally unconvincing.

  • People inside the organisation watch the film and do not see themselves in it. That gap is immediately felt by everyone the film is meant to reach.

  • High production values with a polished aesthetic but no real personality. The film is remembered for how it looks, not for what it says.

what we do about it

safer

The film will feel recognisable to the people inside the organisation.

We treat internal credibility as a prerequisite. If the people who know the organisation do not recognise themselves in the film, the people outside it will not believe it either. We protect against the kind of polish that removes character.

sharper

The film has a specific point - not just a pleasant atmosphere.

Before filming starts, we clarify what the film is actually there to do: what it should make people think, feel, or decide. That clarity shapes everything - the interviews, the structure, the edit. A film without a point is expensive wallpaper.

more human

Founders, leaders, and teams speak in their own voice.

We work directly with founders, CEOs, department heads, and the people closest to the work. Our job is not to coach them into performance. It is to create the conditions where they can speak clearly, naturally, and with real conviction - so what they say is actually believable.

What we create

Built around your subject, audience, and moment

What we produce depends on the combination of variables specific to your project. Rather than a fixed format menu, we work across a set of dimensions and build the right film from that combination.

We can also produce digital assets for online education: video modules, explainer sequences, and course materials that extend the reach of a programme beyond a single film.

Projects where accuracy and accessibility had to coexist

Both of these projects started with a leadership team that knew what they wanted people to understand. The films made that understanding possible.

Seitz Valve

C-Suite Leadership Portrait Series

A recent series of leadership portrait films produced for Seitz Valve, a precision engineering company with a strong international presence. The project wove together the need to communicate three things simultaneously: commitment to R&D, active engagement with international partners (particularly in China) and a genuine investment in talent development. Each film followed a different C-suite leader through their world, in their own voice.

The resulting series gave partners, clients, and prospective talent a clear and specific picture of who leads the organisation and what they stand for.

Employer Branding Film Series

A series of four employer branding films built around different aspects of working at GEP, produced to support a talent acquisition push through real employee voices. Each film took a different angle on the organisation: the work itself, the people, the culture, the environment. The approach was documentary throughout: no scripts, no briefed talking points, no prompts toward the right answer.

The CEO later reflected that the films gave him unexpected insight into the personalities of his own organisation — a perspective on his own culture that genuinely surprised him.

We did not expect a film about our team to show us things about our own organisation we had not seen before. But that is exactly what happened.

are we the right fit for you?

GREAT WORK STARTS
WITH
THE RIGHT
PARTNERSHIP

Not every project needs the same approach. Here are a few signs that the way we work could be a good match for what you need.

01

BEYOND YOUR FIELD

Your research or programme needs to reach an audience outside your own field.

02

CREDIBILITY MATTERS

Accuracy, credibility, and nuance matter to your funders, peers, or institution

03

RESEARCH & INSTITUTIONS

You work at a university, research institute, medical institution, or public-funded body

04

VALUE NEEDS VISIBILITY

You need to communicate the value of a programme — for recruitment, funding, or public visibility

05

PEOPLE LEAD THE STORY

You want the researchers and people behind the work to carry the message, not a narrator

how we work

Not every project needs
the way we work.

Our process, what we ask of you along the way, who we are a good fit for, and how we arrive at a price are all set out in one place.

Looking for something else?
